SeeByte creates advanced autonomy software for managing unmanned and remote assets including solutions for the military, security, offshore, subsea and renewable energy sectors. SeeByte's advanced autonomy solutions enable the latest generation of unmanned underwater systems to self-navigate, perceive and adapt to their environment, conduct autonomous mission planning/re-planning and collaborate with other assets. Data management solutions transfer the raw data collected from the vehicel assets into actionable information, used for asset management and increased situational awareness for the human operator.
This presentation will first present SeeByte, its history and current customers. Examples of current SeeByte solutions will be presented. This will include current work producing the first commercially available autonomous inspection vehicle for subsea operations in partnership with Subsea 7 as well as recent results using collaborative hetergeneous vehicles for co-ordinated underwater operations. Core SeeByte technologies areas such as computer vision, vehicle control and navigation will be highlighted and discussed in the context of recent underwater robotics projects.
