Vittorio Ferrari joins as new faculty

We are delighted to welcome Vittorio Ferrari as the latest member of our academic staff at IPAB. Vitto will take up his faculty position at Edinburgh from Dec 2011. He is currently an Assistant Professor at ETH Zurich and head of the CALVIN research group. He works in the area of computer vision and object recognition with specific research interests in Human Pose Estimation,  Shape Matching,  Object Recognition and Categorization and Tracking.
