Team Edinferno: Publicity, Outreach and Sponsorship

We are proud that Edinferno have got this far. For a small, newly formed team to be competing against well established international teams with 40 members, is an achievement in itself. To help us progress in this competition however we need support to invest in the equipment and technology needed to challenge our competitors. We have the skills and expertise, we just need the investment!

A Chance for Scotland

The University of Edinburgh’s School of Informatics will compete at the 14th International RoboCup.

Team EdInferno, is Scotland’s only entry, and the UK’s first entry this year. What’s more, the team qualified for RoboCup on its first attempt – and against much more established teams – after less than a year’s preparation.

Robot Football is an expensive game. But high public interest, combined with media exposure, create an excellent sponsorship opportunity!

What would our sponsors get?

The School of Informatics offers Team EdInferno corporate sponsors three packages tailored to suit marketing budgets at:
-    £1000,

-    £5000 and

-    £15000.

The higher your level of support, the more prominent your corporate exposure. Total sponsor numbers are strictly limited.

Benefits designed for maximum impact include generous opportunities to display sponsors, logos alongside and on the team, on the team’s official T-shirt and to take part on the journey toward RoboCup 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey.

We’ll also advertise your support on our team web site. Likewise, badge your company’s web site with the Team EdInferno logo, or add it to your MarComs and stationery.
