Sandy Enoch

I am doing a PhD project under the supervision of Sethu Vijayakumar and Michael Herrmann. I am a member of IPAB and funded by the Neuroinformatics DTC, and prior to beginning my PhD obtained an MSc in neuroinformatics from Edinburgh University. I also hold a MEng in robotics from Heriot-Watt University
My research centres around bipedal locomotion and involves creating a novel biomorphic robotic platform which is capable of multimodal locomotion. I am especially interested in variable stiffness actuators and the optimal control of such joints.
