The LFCS Lab Lunch usually takes place each Tuesday at about 1.00 p.m. in Room MF2 4.40 (Mini-Forum 2, Level 4) of the Informatics Forum.
Speakers present talks of around 20 minutes (shorter is fine!) on subjects of their own choice. Coffee and a selection of biscuits are provided from 1.00pm in the same room; people tend to bring their sandwiches, the talks tend to begin around 1.20pm.
Lab lunch is organised by a rota of 2nd year PhD students. At the moment, the organiser is Chao Tian.
There is a schedule of talks to be given by LFCS members, focusing on researchers and PhD students. If you are on this list and would like to change the date, please contact the person who is scheduled for your preferred date, if they agree to swap then please inform the current organiser. Otherwise, if you have a problem giving a talk on the scheduled date, or you are not scheduled to give a talk but would like to do so, please contact the lab lunch organiser.
Talks from visitors to LFCS are particularly welcomed, and it should be possible to fit these in, the above schedule notwithstanding.
Here is a page of information for the organisers and future organisers of the Lab Lunch.
